There is a Newcastle Football heat policy that we are obliged to adhere to.

For Juniors (5 to 16 years old) we are obliged to cancel or postpone events involving Children Football Activities at a temperature of 30 degrees C or above.

We monitor the temperature at the grounds, and the current temperature is 34.1 degrees, with a "feels like" temperature of 35.6 degrees,

We prefer not to cancel or postpone events, although considering the circumstances we have no alternative - both the 5:00pm and 5:50pm rounds for today (Monday 20 October) have been postponed.

For future reference, we typically leave it until around 2 hours prior to the event to make a notification (so for Fast 5's, we will send a notification out at 3:00pm or thereabouts).
