Not unexpectedly, temperatures are extreme this afternoon, and as you all know there is a Newcastle Football heat policy that we are obliged to adhere to.

For Juniors (5 to 16 years old) we are obliged to cancel or postpone events involving Children Football Activities at a temperature of 30 degrees C or above.

We monitor the temperature at the grounds, and the current temperature is 38.3 degrees, with a "feels like" temperature of 41.4 degrees,

Considering the circumstances we have no alternative other than to postpone today's programs - both the 5:00pm and 5:50pm rounds for today (Wednesday 22 October) have been postponed.

Both today's and Monday's postponed games will be played on our "spare" round - Monday the 8th and Wednesday the 10th December.

For future reference, we typically leave it until around 2 hours prior to the event to make a notification (so for Fast 5's, we will send a notification out at 3:00pm or thereabouts).
