Hi everyone.

There is a Newcastle Football heat policy that we are obliged to adhere to.

For Juniors (5 to 16 years old) we are obliged to cancel or postpone events involving Children Football Activities at a temperature of 30 degrees C or above.

We monitor the temperature at the grounds, and the current temperature is 37 degrees, with a "feels like" temperature of 39.3 degrees,

We prefer not to cancel or postpone events, although considering the circumstances we have no alternative - today's MiniRoos Kick-Off and MiniTillies Program has been postponed.

For future reference, we typically leave it until 1 hour prior to the event to make a notification (so for this program, we will send a notification out at 3:30pm or thereabouts).
