Have Your Say on Newcastle’s Sports Facilities – We Need Your Voice

Our club members have been invited to provide feedback on the City of Newcastle’s draft Strategic Sports Plan, which will guide investment in sporting facilities over the next 10 years.

This is a really important opportunity for our members to help shape the future of football facilities in our area.

Why this matters to our club

Many of you have experienced ongoing challenges with local facilities, including:

* Limited space allocated for community club training
* Poor drainage at Novocastrian Park and Regent Park, impacting field availability in wet weather
* Only one set of change rooms servicing two main fields

These issues directly affect training quality, game day experience, and the growth of our club.

How you can help

Council is running a short 8-minute survey, and we strongly encourage all players, parents, coaches and supporters to take part.

Complete the survey here:

The more responses Council receives highlighting these issues, the stronger the case for improvement.

When
Feedback is open now until 11 May 2026

Whether you’re a player, parent, coach or volunteer, your input makes a difference.

Let’s work together to ensure our club – and community sport more broadly – gets the facilities it deserves.

Thank you for your support
